What is Drip Irrigation?

Drip irrigation is a way to deliver water (at a residence, garden, nursery, or farm) and nutrients directly to a plant’s roots with less waste through evaporation, percolation into the soil, and runoff. It “drips” the water onto the plant’s roots keeping them moist without the waste caused by sprinklers. It also allows for a more precise distribution of the amount of water and nutrients delivered, leading to less waste (and saving money).

CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES:

• Two stripes identify the dripline side with the exit holes ensuring correct installation.
• Target markets include row crop (surface, subsurface and under mulch), open field and greenhouse.
• Excellent choice for close dripper spacing, low application rates and extended performance in the field.
• The integrated inlet filter and extra large cross section provide plugging protection.
• Laser drilled dripper outlet prevents root intrusion and siphon plugging.
• Exceptional filtration performance extends the range of usable fertilizers.
• A lower Cv, <2% results in highly uniform water distribution.
• Less susceptible to damage during installation and easily retrievable.
• UV resistant and resistant to common fertilizers.
• Recommended filtration: 200 Mesh for .07 GPH and .09 GPH

This Drip Tape has built-in emitters spaced every 12 inches for saturation coverage of desired area.  As indicated in the name of this part #, this drip tape is 7,540 feet in length.  It measures 5/8″ ID (inside diameter) and is 8 mil in thickness.  Flow rate is .35 GPH per Emitter/100’.

This tape is designed to ensure an even flow and minimize clogging of built-in emitters. Ideal for use in hemp farms, vegetable gardens, and flowerbeds where the rows are straight.

Premium light dripline with seamless construction for strength and ease of installation. Drippers have an integrated inlet filter to protect the flow path from plugging and the extra-large cross sectional area prevents clogging. Manufactured with the highest quality polyethylene resins producing high strength and abrasion resistance. An excellent coefficient of variation (<2.0%) ensures highly uniform water distribution. Two green stripes identify the dripper side for correct installation. Ideal choice for close outlet requirements and low application crops with above ground, under mulch or subsurface applications.
